Medieval Eisenhut Kettle Helmet

One of the most common and varied helmets of the medieval era was the kettle helmet. The Eisenhut Kettle Helmet recreates this historical headwear. This 16 gauge, mild steel hat features a reinforced skullcap and a short, angled brim. The skullcap has two crossing strips of steel and a lower ring riveted to the base.

The helmet has an antiqued finish for a more battle worn appearance and is painted black on the underside of the brim. Wear this helmet with the attached leather head strap. The headstrap fastens with a buckle. There is brown, quilted padding on the inside of the helmet for greater comfort.

This steel helmet is a great accessory for reenactments or fantasy conventions. This item is handmade, therefore, it may vary slightly from what is shown above.
